Alexander Burnham and John Morey were born and raised at the Gateway Farm, a religious commune in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Life at the Farm is all they know until they stumble upon the outside world. Yearning for more, they set out to explore. They encounter a beautiful, yet malevolent world that pushes their morality and friendship to the brink. Along the way, they discover a sense of self through philosophy, relationships, and spirituality.
